Dubbing Tales: Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha reunite after many years for a movie!

After a gap of over 33 years an on-screen hit jodi of Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha re-united for a film, R Balki’s Shamitabh.

 

But did you know that even after taking a break from being seen on-screen together, off-screen the duo (Amitabh and Rekha) coupled up for a few projects. Their last joint acting venture was Silsila (1981) but the two were associated with each other in films such as Aakhree Raasta (1986) and Sooryavansham (1999). Rekha turned dubbing artist for both the Bachchan starrers where in the first she was Sridevi’s voice and in the latter one she did dubbing for Soundarya and Jayasudha.

 

Interestingly, in her latest flick Shamitabh, the actress has again taken to dubbing for a Bachchan starrer. Also, she is seen giving the award of best actor to Dhanush who has the voice of Amitabh. Rekha is shown perplexed when Dhanush speaks in Big B’s voice. A bewildered Rekha tells the actor – “Take care of your voice it is too valuable.”

Yo Yo Honey Singh finally comes out of his shell! Posts about his health on Facebook

Putting all the speculations around his disappearance from public, to rest, star rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh finally came out of his shell and posted about his health on his Facebook page on February 5. He wrote, “With all ur blessings. My health is getting better. Keep blessing. Yo Yo.”

 

Singh fuelled many rumours after he suddenly vanished from the industry and public some time back. Buzz said that his hectic schedules took a toll on his health resulting in fluctuating blood pressure. Hence, he was advised to take full rest, by his doctors. However, few others also claimed that the Punjabi sensation was in rehab for alleged drug abuse.

 

Amid all this, his doting wife Shalini Singh came forward and issued a statement, rubbishing all the rumours. She said, “These are baseless stories. Honey is genuinely not well and is in recovery mode. He has never been a drug addict. Poonam Pandey to do a biopic on Salman Khan’s step-mother Helen?

Controversy queen Poonam Pandey is looking to settle in Bollywood for good! After making her debut with Amit Saxena’s Nasha, the actress seems to have landed a role in a plum project.

 

If sources are to be believed Poonam has been finalised as the lead heroine for a film titled Helen. Interestingly, it is being said that the film is based on the life of a cabaret dancer.
