While it was gifts and wishes galore for newlyweds Soha Ali Khan
and Kunal Khemu on their D-day, it was a ‘special present’ time for
someone else too, at the wedding. Well, we are talking about Soha’s
superstar sister-in-law Kareena Kapoor, who was gifted a beautiful ancestral ring by her sister Karisma, on the occasion.
Lolo’s gesture came as she was impressed and touched by her sister’s effort to make time for her loved ones. Apparently, Bebo
had to work extra hard to adjust and attend Soha’s wedding ceremonies,
which were planned at a short notice. A source said, “Karisma and Kareena
are very close as it is, and the latter decided to use the occasion to
gift her baby sister something that was close to her heart. It was a
ring that their grandmother, Krishna Raj Kapoor, had gifted her around
two decades ago.”
According to reports, Kareena finished a song sequence for a Karan
Johar film in 48 hours, attended Soha’s mehendi function, and went back
to complete the shoot, in order to attend and enjoy the wedding to the
fullest.
